Genfora Pro Terms

Independent business relationship

Pros use Genfora as independent businesses and service providers. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, partnership, joint venture, agency or a franchise relationship between Genfora and the Pro.

No guarantees

Pros are not guaranteed:

• leads or customers
• revenue, earnings or minimum work
• territories or schedules

Pro control

Pros decide:

• whether to make themselves available
• which services they offer and their service areas
• which opportunities to pursue and whether to communicate with a customer
• whether to accept a project
• their customer-facing prices, inspection fees where permitted, estimates and quotes
• how services are performed, subject to law and their agreement with the customer

Pro responsibilities

Pros are responsible for:

• their own tools, transportation and expenses
• taxes, permits, licenses, insurance and legally required registrations
• compliance with federal, state and local law
• the quality and safety of their work
• representations made to customers

Leads and conversion

Genfora does not guarantee lead conversion. A Pro may receive a lead and not be selected. A Pro pays a lead fee only when the customer selects that Pro through the platform's official selection flow.

Taxes

Pros are responsible for determining and satisfying their own tax obligations arising from their independent business activity, except where Genfora is legally required to collect, report, withhold or remit specific amounts. Genfora makes no promise about any particular tax classification and may collect legally required taxpayer information.

Licenses and permits

Pros must determine whether their services require an occupational license, contractor license, trade license, permit, certification, registration or insurance in the jurisdiction where the service occurs. Genfora's service catalog does not itself represent that every Pro is legally authorized to perform every listed service. Where Genfora knows a service requires verified credentials, service-level gating may apply.

Suspension, restriction and termination

Genfora may suspend, restrict, remove from the marketplace, or terminate a Pro account for policy violations, fraud, safety concerns or unlawful conduct. A Pro remains responsible for outstanding valid lead fees and other obligations incurred before termination, subject to applicable law and valid dispute and refund rights.
