Licenses & Insurance

How license and insurance verification works.

Version
1.0

Genfora provides a technology marketplace connecting customers and independent service professionals. Genfora does not perform the services, does not employ Pros, and does not supervise the work they carry out.

License verification

A License Verified badge appears only when Genfora has actually reviewed the relevant license information. Genfora records the license type, issuing jurisdiction, license number where appropriate, expiration date where available, verification timestamp and verification status. Public profiles show the minimum necessary information.

License verification reflects information reviewed by Genfora at the time of verification and does not guarantee current status or scope.

Insurance verification

An Insurance Verified badge appears only when documentation has actually been reviewed. Genfora records the provider, policy type, expiration, verification date and status, and flags expired documentation for re-review.

Insurance verification indicates that documentation was reviewed by Genfora. Coverage may change, expire, contain exclusions, or otherwise be limited.

Services requiring credentials

Services that legally require licensing are not represented as licensed unless appropriate verification exists. Pros are responsible for holding the credentials required in the jurisdiction where the service occurs.
