Genfora provides a technology marketplace connecting customers and independent service professionals. Genfora does not perform the services, does not employ Pros, and does not supervise the work they carry out.
What is free
- Browsing eligible leads is free.
- Receiving an invitation is free.
- Viewing an eligible lead is free unless a future product feature expressly states otherwise.
- Messaging a customer before selection is free.
When a lead fee is charged
A Pro pays the displayed Genfora lead fee only when that Pro is selected by the customer through the platform's official selection and hire flow.
Before a Pro responds, the platform displays the exact fee as "Lead fee if hired" together with the statement "You pay only if the customer selects you."
The exact lead fee is calculated and locked to the lead before the Pro engages with it. The fee cannot silently change after distribution; historical leads keep their original fee snapshot.
When no fee is charged
- The customer selects another Pro: $0.
- The Pro is not selected: $0.
- The customer never selects anyone: $0.
Fee is separate from your service price
Lead fees are marketplace access and acquisition fees paid to Genfora. They are separate from the amount the customer pays the Pro for performing services. The Pro sets its own customer-facing service price.
How lead fees are calculated
Lead fees are service-specific and scope-specific rather than being derived from an arbitrary estimate of project value. Depending on the service, pricing may depend on item count, load size, quantity, rooms or scope, property size, task count, move size, or appliance count and type.
Quantity-based pricing uses the quantity caps and volume-discount curves configured by Genfora. Genfora may change future lead fee pricing; changes never alter fees already snapshotted on distributed leads.
